Akademisi yang merupakan Rektor Institut Informatika dan Bisnis (IIB) Darmajaya Lampung, Firmansyah Y Alfian menanggapi rencana pemerintah terkait penerapan New Normal, khususnya pada sektor pariwisata Lampung.
Menurut Firmansyah, pelaku industri pariwisata harus lebih inovatif dan memanfaatkan peluang creativity tourism digital. Artinya, teknologi digital tidak saja dijadikan alat atau supporting dalam proses produksi pada sektor wisata tapi juga harus bisa memanfaatkan teknologi digital sebagai produk wisata dan turunannya, seperti menjual panganan atau produk souvenir bahkan budaya khas daerah secara online, yang merepresentasikan keunikan dari daerah tersebut.
“Begitu juga dengan pemerintah, Pemda harus banyak belajar dari wilayah atau negara lain yang komoditas utamanya dari sektor pariwisata. Bagaimana mereka menerapkan jaminan kenyamanan dan keselamatan wisatawan sekaligus menjamin terlaksananya protokol kesehatan dalam rangka meningkatkan image destinasi wisata,” kata Firmansyah saat diwawancarai travel2lampung.com, Kamis (4/6).
Firmansyah juga menuturkan bahwa perlunya sosialisasi yang masif, diikuti uji coba, simulasi-simulasi dan juga perlunya dimulai dari sekarang ini.
“Pengawasan, agar betul-betul standar protokol kesehatan itu dijalankan di lapangan, di daerah atau kawasan wisata” imbuhnya.
Firmansyah menjelaskan pentingnya pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan secara ketat dan konsisten serta menjaga protokol kesehatan untuk semua fasilitas atau infrastruktur daerah dan semua kegiatan di daerah. Menurutnya, hal tersebut bisa menjamin kepercayaan publik, baik itu investor yang masuk, wisatawan, maupun pihak-pihak lain. Selain itu, sekaligus membangun budaya atau mindset baru bagi masyarakat bahwa pentingnya kesehatan dan membangun tingkat kedisiplinan
“Berkaca dari negara-negara yang cukup berhasil meminimalisir bencana covid yang lalu, pada umumnya terjadi di negara-negara yang notabene memiliki budaya degan tingkat kesadaran dan kedisiplinan yang cukup tinggi. Ini yang harus kita ubah mindset dari masyarakat tersebut, yaitu membangun budaya disiplin dan taat,” lanjut Firmansyah.
Untuk pengawasannya, calon Wali Kota Bandar Lampung yang maju dari jalur independen ini, mengatakan, Pemda harus terlibat langsung dengan pengawasan dan bertanggung jawab terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan masyarakat , tanpa harus mengorbankan pekerjaan dan mata pencaharian mereka. Satu-satu nya cara adalah aturan, kedisiplinan dan jaminan kenyamanan masyarakat yang harus diutamakan.
“Memang pilihan yangg sulit, trade off antara kebijakan mana yang harus didahulukan. Apakah kesehatan ataukah ekonomi,” kata Firmansyah mengutip diskusi kenegaraan yang dilakukan oleh Kementerian Keuangan beberapa Minggu lalu.
Menurut Firmansyah, jawabannya adalah lakukan secara simultan. Artinya, antara sektor ekonomi dan kesehatan harus sama-sama dilakukan, meski degan konsekwensi tidak seoptimal seperti sebelum pandemi covid-19. Hal ini dilakukan supaya dua sektor tersebut tetap berjalan.
“Kuncinya ada pada bagaimana semua unsur baik pemerintah, swasta maupun pribadi harus bisa menjalankan protokol kesehatan, sehingga aktivitas ekonomi tetap berjalan, tapi dari segi kesehatan lebih bisa diminimalisir,” imbuhnya lagi.
Terakhir, sebagai penutup, Firmansyah mengatakan, “Mungkin inilah saatnya kita berbenah. Ada ancaman pasti ada peluang. Salah satunya, bagaimana pemanfaatan teknologi digital menggantikan peran dan bahkan sebagai komoditi utama dalam era ini.” (ded)
