Gubernur Lampung Arinal Djunaidi dianugerahi LPM Award sebagai Tokoh Penjaga Kelestarian Kehutanan bagi masyarakat, penggagas Kartu Petani Berjaya, dan Penggagas Smart Village, oleh Ketua LPM Pusat DR. Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tanjung.
Penghargaan tersebut diberikan pada acara perayaan HUT Ke-22 Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (LPM) di Desa Tanjung Anom, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, Minggu (24/7).
Dalam kesempatannya, Gubernur mengucapkan selamat merayakan Hut ke-22 kepada LPM dan berharap kedepan LPM dapat terus bekerjasama dan berkolaborasi dengan pemerintah dalam memajukan masyarakat.
“Atas nama Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung, saya mengucapkan selamat HUT ke- 22 kepada LPM. Semoga ke depan LPM selalu memberikan kontribusi yang positif dalam membangun Provinsi Lampung yang maju dan berjaya,” ucap Gubernur.
Sebagaimana tertulis dalam undang-undang, menurut Gubernur, LPM merupakan mitra strategis kerja pemerintah dalam melayani dan mengayomi masyarakat, serta meningkatkan kemandirian masyarakat menuju masyarakat yang berkualitas.
Sementara itu, Ketua LPM Pusat DR. Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tanjung menyatakan bahwa untuk mempercepat pembangunan maka konsentrasi pembangunan harus pusatkan dipedesaan.
“Desa menjadi pusat konsentrasi pembangunan nasional tentu saja ini selaras dengan program kerja Pak Gubernur dengan konsep ekonomi kerakyatan, dengan dukungan dari LPM, semoga kedepan kita dapat bersinergi dan berkolaborasi dalam memajukan masyarakat Lampung,” ucapnya.
Menurut Doli Kurnia Tanjung, LPM juga telah melakukan MoU dengan Kementerian Dalam Negeri untuk pelibatan LPM dalam musyawarah pembangunan Desa.(*ls/Lam/Ded)
