PUSAT Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (PPSDM) Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) Regional Yogyakarta menggelar coahing clinic penulisan buku dan jurnal bagi 40 Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring pada Kamis (18/8).
Dirilis dari saluran resmi Kemendagri, Kepala PPSDM Regional Yogyakarta Agus Irawan mengatakan bahwa acara bertujuan untuk menumbuhkembangkan budaya menulis secara ilmiah di kalangan pejabat fungsional.
Agus berharap, coaching clinic tersebut dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan kompetensi peserta dalam menganalisis suatu kondisi dan kebijakan strategis organisasi pemerintahan.
“Coaching clinic ini diharapkan dapat menunjang keterampilan dan pengetahuan seluruh pejabat fungsional dalam penulisan buku dan jurnal,” ujarnya.
Agus menambahkan, kegiatan ini menjadi alternatif pengembangan kompetensi bagi PNS. Selain itu, kebutuhan pengembangan kompetensi sebanyak 20 jam pelajaran per tahun juga dapat terpenuhi.
Seperti diketahui, publikasi ilmiah melalui penulisan buku dan jurnal merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus dipenuhi oleh seorang pejabat fungsional. Tepatnya, hal ini masuk ke dalam unsur pengembangan profesi, yang merupakan syarat yang harus dipenuhi oleh pejabat fungsional untuk kenaikan pangkat/jenjang jabatan.
“Sehingga (kegiatan ini) mampu mendorong semangat menulis dan melakukan mempublikasikannya secara ilmiah,” imbuh Agus lagi.
Sebagai informasi, pada kegiatan ini hadir dua narasumber yang merupakan akademisi dari Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Keduanya yaitu Wiyatmi yang mendampingi kelompok penulisan buku, dan Anita Triastuti yang mendampingi penulisan publikasi ilmiah. Adapun para peserta merupakan pejabat fungsional widyaiswara, pejabat fungsional tertentu lainnya dari lingkup PPSDM Regional Yogyakarta, Badan Diklat Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), dan instansi vertikal lainnya.(*ls/Dal/Ded)
