WAKIL Menteri Perdagangan Jerry Sambuaga mendorong masyarakat dan pelaku usaha untuk meningkatkan praktik dan penggunaan pembayaran digital saat bertransaksi menggunakan kode QR atau Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). Indonesia akan terus meningkatkan digitalisasi ekonomi terutama di saat Indonesia memegang keketuaan ASEAN.
Hal ini disampaikan WamendagJerry saat meninjau langsung Festival Ekonomi Keuangan Digital Indonesia (FEKDI) 2023, Senin (8/5) di JCC Senaya, Jakarta. FEKDI 2023 yang berlangsung pada 7—10 Mei 2023 diselenggarakan Bank Indonesia bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian.
“Ini merupakan langkah yang bagus karena kementerian, lintas lembaga, para pemangku kepentingan, dan industri bersinergi mendorong digitalisasi, khususnya di bidang ekonomi. Teknologi dan inovasi ini kemudian perlu dikombinasikan dengan peningkatan praktik implementasi di lapangan,”ungkap Wamendag Jerry.
Wamendag Jerry menuturkan, sejalan dengan keketuaan Indonesia di ASEAN tahun ini, digitalisasi menjadi salah satu hal yang mendapatkan perhatian untuk dapat dikembangkan, khususnya di ASEAN dan dilakukan secara kolektif.Seluruh negara anggota ASEAN harus menunjukkan keberpihakkannya dalam menggitakan hal tersebut.
“Indonesia saat ini menggencarkan digitalisasi pembayaran, akses terhadap lokapasar (marketplace), dan lain sebagainya. Kementerian Perdagangan tentunya siap mendukung langkah-langkah lanjutannya nanti,”ujar Wamendag Jerry.
Menurutnya, saat ini pengguna QRIS sudah mencapai sekitar 30 juta pengguna di seluruh Indonesia. Meskipun mayoritas pengguna ada di Pulau Jawa, namun ke depannya pembangunan dan pengembangan pembayaran digital juga gencar dilakukan di Indonesia bagian timur. Contohnya, lanjut Wamendag Jerry, target digitalisasi di 1.000 pasar rakyatyang dicanangkan Kementerian Perdagangan sudah mulai berjalan. Transaksi beberapa pasar di daerah-daerah kinitidak lagi dengan uang tunai, tetapi menggunakan QRIS. Hal ini juga berlaku di marketplaceyang mempertemukan pembeli tanpa harus bertemu secara fisik.
“Kementerian Perdagangan terus berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah setempat untuk mendorong digitalisasi di pasar-pasar. Tentunya,ini merupakan upaya pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia yang maju dan inklusif,”pungkas Wamendag Jerry.
Wamendag Jerry menambahkan,Kementerian Perdagangan juga terus berperan aktif memfasilitasi pelaku usaha yang memberikan perhatian terhadap pengembangan ekosistem digital di pasar rakyat melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan kolaborasi implementasi digitalisasi secara pilottingdi lapangan. Sesuai arahan Presiden Joko Widodo, pemerintah terus berupaya mendorong peningkatan daya saing dan eksistensi pasar rakyat. Salah satu caranya melalui digitalisasi pasar rakyat.(*/Dag/Ded)
