PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) bersama PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) dan PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) serta didukung oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), kembali menyelenggarakan acara Public Expose LIVE. Acara yang merupakan rangkaian dari peringatan 45 Tahun Diaktifkannya Kembali Pasar Modal Indonesia ini, diadakan secara virtual selama 5 hari, yaitu tanggal 12-16 September 2022. Sebanyak 54 perusahaan tercatat berpartisipasi menyampaikan pemaparan kinerja dan rencana kepada publik.
Direktur Pengembangan BEI Jeffrey Hendrik menyampaikan, Public Expose LIVE dapat membuka akses dan hubungan yang lebih luas antara investor dengan perusahaan tercatat. Selain itu, investor dapat meningkatkan pemahaman atas perusahaan tercatat di BEI dengan mengikuti Public Expose LIVE 2022.
Jeffrey menambahkan bahwa melalui acara ini, investor dapat berinteraksi dengan manajemen perusahaan tercatat untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam menentukan keputusan investasinya.
“Tujuan lain dari penyelenggaraan Public Expose LIVE 2022 adalah untuk menambah basis investor lokal, serta meningkatkan likuiditas pasar,” ujar Jeffrey pada Senin (12/9).
Public Expose LIVE 2022 merupakan acara pemaparan umum beberapa perusahaan tercatat di BEI untuk menjelaskan kinerja dan rencana perusahaan agar informasi tersebut tersebar secara merata. Tidak hanya itu, acara ini merupakan fasilitas yang diberikan kepada perusahaan tercatat dalam pemenuhan kewajiban Public Expose Tahunan, yaitu sekurang-kurangnya dilaksanakan sebanyak 1 kali dalam setahun.
Sejak tahun 2019, penyelenggaraan Public Expose LIVE telah mengadopsi teknologi pertemuan virtual dan real time. Kemudian pada tahun 2020, penyelenggaraan Public Expose LIVE dilakukan sepenuhnya virtual dan berlanjut pada tahun-tahun berikutnya. Public Expose LIVE merupakan jawaban atas tantangan dalam memudahkan masyarakat mendapatkan informasi langsung dari manajemen perusahaan tercatat. Public Expose LIVE juga merupakan salah satu upaya melindungi kepentingan investor ritel melalui transparansi kinerja perusahaan tercatat.
Penyelenggara optimis bahwa jumlah peserta yang hadir pada Public Expose LIVE 2022 dapat melampaui capaian penyelenggaraan pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Penyelenggaraan Public Expose LIVE 2021 silam diikuti oleh 49.769 peserta. Tren jumlah peserta meningkat jika dibandingkan dengan penyelenggaraan Public Expose LIVE 2020 yang dihadiri oleh 41.361 peserta.
Target peserta Public Expose LIVE 2022 adalah investor, analis perusahaan efek, manajer investasi lokal dan asing, analis dana pensiun, perwakilan dari asuransi, anggota Asosiasi Analis Efek Indonesia, serta wartawan di pasar modal.(*ls/Bei/Ded)
