SEKRETARIS Daerah Provinsi Lampung, Fahrizal Darminto, menjadi Pembina Upacara Peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional Tahun 2023, di Lapangan Korpri, Selasa (2/5).
Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, dalam sambutan yang disampaikan oleh Sekdaprov Lampung mengatakan bahwa 24 episode Merdeka Belajar yang sudah diluncurkan semakin mendekatkan dengan cita-cita luhur Ki Hadjar Dewantara, yaitu pendidikan yang menuntun bakat, minat, dan potensi peserta didik agar mampu mencapai keselamatan dan kebahagiaan yang setinggi-tingginya sebagai seorang manusia dan sebagai anggota masyarakat.
“Anak-anak kita sekarang bisa belajar dengan lebih tenang karena aktivitas pembelajaran mereka dinilai secara lebih holistik oleh gurunya sendiri,” kata Mendikbudristek.
“Para kepala sekolah dan kepala daerah yang dulu kesulitan memonitor kualitas pendidikannya sekarang dapat menggunakan data Asesmen Nasional di Platform Rapor Pendidikan untuk melakukan perbaikan kualitas layanan pendidikan,” lanjutnya lagi.
Mendikbudristek kemudian menjelaskan, para guru sekarang berlomba-lomba untuk berbagi dan berkarya dengan hadirnya Platform Merdeka Mengajar. Selain itu, guru-guru yang dulu diikat berbagai peraturan yang kaku sekarang lebih bebas berinovasi di kelas dengan hadirnya Kurikulum Merdeka.
Sejalan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran mendalam untuk mengembangkan karakter dan kompetensi, seleksi masuk perguruan tinggi negeri pun sekarang fokus pada mengukur kemampuan literasi dan bernalar.
“Pada jenjang perguruan tinggi, adik-adik mahasiswa yang dulu hanya belajar teori di dalam kelas sekarang bisa melanglang buana mencari pengetahuan dan pengalaman di luar kampus dengan hadirnya program-program Kampus Merdeka,” kata Nadiem Anwar Makarim.
Dari segi pendanaan, Mendikbudristek menjelaskan bahwa pencairan langsung dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) dan Bantuan Operasional Pendidikan (BOP) ke sekolah dan pemanfaatannya yang lebih fleksibel telah memberikan keleluasaan bagi sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
Dengan perluasan program beasiswa, kesempatan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi sekarang jauh lebih terbuka. Dukungan dana padanan untuk mendanai riset juga telah melahirkan begitu banyak inovasi yang bermula dari kolaborasi.
Selain itu, mekanisme Dana Indonesiana yang fleksibel dapat mewadahi gagasan-gagasan kreatif para seniman dan pelaku budaya sehingga mampu menghasilkan karya-karya hebat yang mendukung pemajuan kebudayaan.
“Saudara saudariku, mari kita ingat, bahwa bersama-sama kita telah membuat sejarah baru dengan gerakan Merdeka Belajar,” ucap Mendikbudristek.
Di akhir sambutan, Mendikbudristek mengatakan bahwa Hari Pendidikan Nasional tahun ini adalah waktu yang tepat untuk merefleksikan kembali setiap tantangan yang sudah dihadapi, juga setiap jengkal langkah berani yang sudah diambil sepanjang tiga tahun terakhir, untuk merancang arah perjalanan ke depan guna memastikan keberlangsungan dan keberlanjutan gerakan Merdeka Belajar.
“Layar yang sudah kita bentangkan jangan sampai terlipat lagi. Kita semua, para pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, seniman dan pelaku budaya, juga peserta didik di seluruh penjuru Nusantara, adalah kapten dari kapal besar yang bernama Indonesia ini. Perjalanan harus kita lanjutkan, perjuangan mesti kita teruskan, agar semua anak bangsa merasakan kemerdekaan yang sebenar-benarnya dalam belajar dan bercita-cita,” kata Mendikbudristek.
“Mari kita semarakkan hari ini dengan semangat untuk meneruskan perwujudan Merdeka Belajar, mendidik generasi Pelajar Pancasila yang cerdas berkarakter, dan membawa Indonesia melompat ke masa depan dengan pendidikan yang memerdekakan. Selamat Hari Pendidikan Nasional,” pungkas Mendikbudristek.
Upacara Peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional Tahun 2023 dengan tema “Bergerak Bersama Semarakkan Merdeka Belajar” ini juga diikuti oleh Forkopimda Provinsi Lampung, Para Asisten, Staf Ahli, Kepala OPD di lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung, serta para Pelajar/Mahasiswa.
