KEMENTERIAN Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) melalui Balai Pengembangan Talenta Indonesia (BPTI) menyelenggarakan Festival Literasi Siswa Indonesia (FeLSI) 2022 sebagai upaya mewadahi pengembangan prestasi talenta peserta didik di bidang bahasa dan literasi.
Kepala Badan Standar, Kurikulum, dan Asesmen Pendidikan, (BSKAP), Anindito Aditomo menyampaikan festival literasi ini merupakan bagian penting dari Merdeka Belajar, di mana tujuan utamanya adalah mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas bagi semua peserta didik.
“Dengan kegiatan seperti ini, siswa dengan beragam bakat dan minat, baik yang berbakat di bidang akademik, olahraga, seni, budaya, dan bahasa, semua mendapatkan kesempatan untuk tumbuh dan berprestasi,” ujarnya saat membuka FeLSI 2022 secara daring, pada Senin (7/11).
Tidak hanya itu, kata Anindito, festival literasi ini juga menjadi bagian dari pengembangan karakter dalam menumbuhkan kebiasaan membaca dan menulis, sekaligus mencipta dan memahami segala sesuatu secara lebih komprehensif. Untuk itu, Anindito berharap para peserta festival ini bisa menjadi penggerak dan pelopor budaya literasi di sekolahnya masing-masing.
“Selamat atas terpilihnya karya adik-adik hingga bisa sampai tingkat nasional ini. Teruslah menulis cerpen (cerita pendek), membuat karya jurnalistik, membuat karya foto. Terus asah kemampuan Anda untuk menjadi versi terbaik dari diri Anda,” ucap Anindito.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Pelaksana tugas (Plt.) Pusat Prestasi Nasional dan juga Kepala BPTI, Asep Sukmayadi dalam laporannya menjelaskan festival ini merupakan salah satu wadah pengembangan ajang talenta di bidang seni, bahasa, dan literasi yang diikuti oleh peserta didik jenjang SMA, MA, dan SMK.
FeLSI 2022 ini merupakan pengembangan dari lomba jurnalistik pada tahun 2020 dan dilaksanakan untuk kedua kalinya. Festival yang dilaksanakan secara daring ini digelar pada 7 hingga 11 November dengan tema ‘Pulih Bersama, Bangkit Perkasa’.
Masih dalam masa pandemi, FeLSI 2022 ini melombakan tiga cabang lomba yaitu lomba jurnalistik, fotografi, dan cerita pendek. Seleksi FeLSI ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu seleksi tahap I untuk memilih finalis dan seleksi II melalui presentasi dan wawancara.
Adapun jumlah siswa yang mendaftar sebanyak 4.051 siswa/karya dengan rincian 719 karya jurnalistik, 410 karya fotografi, dan 1.751 karya cerpen. Dari karya-karya tersebut telah terpilih masing-masing 25 karya untuk mengikuti tahap final/seleksi puncak. Peserta yang berpartisipasi pada kegiatan FeLSI 2022 berasal dari 54 SMA, 7 MA, dan 6 SMK dari 23 provinsi dan 54 kabupaten/kota.
Salah satu peserta lomba jurnalistik, Muhamad Adipta Alvinto dari SMA Pradipta Dirgantara, Jawa Tengah menuturkan persiapannya untuk mengikuti FeLSI 2022. “Tentunya saya melaksanakan beberapa perbaikan redaksi dengan beberapa narasumber. Dan saya memilah apa saja data yang cocok untuk dijadikan artikel yang mempunyai kisah inspirasi dan menyentuh perasaan para pembacanya,” tutur siswa yang mengidolakan Ira Koesno, sang penyiar berita.
Sementara itu, Aime Nayla Calencia Chandra, siswa SMA Katolik Santo Yoseph, Denpasar menyampaikan keikutsertaannya dalam lomba cerpen yang sudah menjadi minat dari dulu.
“Jadi ketika saya lihat FeLSI buka pendaftaran maka dari itu saya mengajukan diri untuk menjadi salah satu perwakilan sekolah,” imbuh siswa yang bercita-cita menjadi akuntan.(*/Dik/Ded)
