GUBERNUR Lampung Arinal Djunaidi menghadiri kegiatan Pemusnahan Barang Milik Negara Hasil Penindakan oleh Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai Tipe Madya Pabean B (KPPBC TMP B) Bandar Lampung. Acara dilaksanakan di Container Freight Station Pelindo Il Panjang, Bandar Lampung, Selasa (28/9).
Barang ilegal yang dimusnahkan merupakan hasil penindakan petugas KPPBC selama Tahun 2020 sampai dengan Mei 2021. Total nilainya sebesar Rp32,4 miliar dengan potensi kerugian negara sekitar Rp20,19 miliar.
Dalam sambutannya, Gubernur Arinal Djunaidi menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Bea Cukai Bandar Lampung atas kinerja dan prestasinya dalam menjalankan tugas dengan maksimal.
“Di satu sisi saya mengapresiasi terhadap kinerja Bea Cukai Bandar Lampung atas prestasinya. Tapi disisi lain, ternyata masih banyak orang yang tidak bertangung jawab dan tidak mau mengikuti prosedur yang berlaku”, ucap Gubernur.
Selain itu Gubernur Arinal juga mengharapkan kerjasama dan sinergi semua pihak, termasuk TNI-Polri, juga Polair, dalam meningkatkan pengawasan terutama di sektor ekspor-impor. Menurutnya, pemusnahan yang dilakukan pada hari ini merupakan wujud sinergi antara Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung dengan Instansi Vertikal Pemerintah Pusat khususnya Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai.
Sementara, Kepala Bea Cukai Bandar Lampung Esti Wiyandari mengatakan bahwa dalam kegiatan hari ini KPPBC TMP B Bandar Lampung akan memusnahkan 29.600.556 Batang BKC Hasil Tembakau/rokok, 1.233 Botol/Kaleng Minuman Keras llegal, 1.000 pcs Parfum, 164 pcs Laptop Bekas, 6.007 pcs/set/karton Kosmetik, 56 Karton T-Shirt dan Tablecloth, 5 pcs/unit Air Softgun, Stun gun, dan busur, 134 pcs/unit Sex toy, 4 pcs/unit Majalah Pornografi, 34 Bungkus Benih Tanaman, 610 pcs/botol Obat-obatan, 1.023 strip/pcs Lain-Lain.
Esti menjelaskan, sebagai salah satu institusi strategis di lingkungan Kementerian Keuangan, Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai memiliki tugas dan fungsi sebagai pengumpul penerimaan negara untuk biaya pembangunan.
“Bea cukai memiliki dua fungsi, yakni sebagai pengumpul penerimaan negara, kemudian juga sebagai protektor atau pelindung kepada masyarakat dalam pemakaian atau penyalahgunaan barang ilegal,” tuturnya.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Esti Wiyandari juga mengucapkan terimakasih kepada Gubernur Arinal Djunaidi dan jajaran Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung beserta Forkopimda, atas dukungan, kerjasama, serta sinergi sehingga Bea Cukai Bandar Lampung dapat menyelesaikan tugasnya dengan baik.(*ls/E1)
