Wanita yang akrab disapa Mbak Bety ini menjelaskan kalau awalnya Karya Tama fokus pada tanaman obat dan mengusung tema back to nature. Namun seiring berjalanya waktu, memanfaatkan keadaan alam dengan menambahkan beberapa wahana seperti area outbond, penyewaan ATV, tempat gathering, dan kolam renang untuk bermain anak.
“Setelah ditambahkanya beberapa fasilitas penunjang tersebut, justru tanaman obat-obatan yang awalnya menjadi primadona bagi para pengunjung, seolah terlupakan,” kata Elisabeth.
Dia juga mengatakan bahwa animo masyarakat jadi semakin meningkat setelah ada penambahan fasilitas baru yang memang khalayak ramai sebagai tempat untuk berkumpul, reuni dan bersantai.
“Lebih lanjut, tempat ini juga sangat cocok untuk pre-wedding dan juga camping loh,” tambah Elisabeth lagi.
Travel2Lampung menyempatkan berkeliling di area yang memiliki luas sekitar 5 ha tersebut. Tampak beberapa pondokan/gazebo yang dapat dipakai untuk beristirahat sembari menikmati suasana alam yang asri. Memang, tempat ini sangat cocok untuk membawa keluarga menikmati waktu santai bersama.
Harga tiket masuk sangat terjangkau, hanya Rp12.000,- per orang. Pengunjung sudah bisa menikmati pepohonan rindang juga berbagai macam tanaman obat yang dikemas rapi nan eksotis. Di setiap karcis terdapat voucher Rp2.000,- yang dapat ditukarkan dengan makanan atau minuman seharga nominal tersebut.
