TELAGA Gupit merupakan wisata alam yang terletak di Jalan Raya Mataram, Pekon Tegalsari, Kec. Gading Rejo, Kabupaten Pringsewu. Diberi nama begitu karena di tengah-tengah telaga tersebut terdapat mata air yang terapit.
Selama masa pandemi, tempat yang sudah berdiri sejak tahun 2017 ini sempat tutup. Namun, sejak Desember 2021 lalu sudah aktif kembali dan disambut antusias oleh masyarakat. Pihak pengelola juga selalu merawat fasilitas yang ada.
Telaga Gupit buka setiap hari, mulai pukul 07.00 pagi sampai 18.00 sore. Tiket masuknya hanya Rp5.000 saja per orang. Pengunjung yang datang sering kali ramai, terutama di akhir minggu. Selain menikmati suasana, banyak juga yang datang untuk mancing.
Saat ditemui Travel2Lampung pertengahan Maret lalu, salah satu Pengurus Wisata Alam Telaga Gupit, Marza Imawan Irhamsyah menjelaskan situasi tempat wisata tersebut pada masa sebelum pandemi hingga saat ini.
“Sebelum pandemi covid -19, Wisata Telaga Gupit ini sangat ramai. Fasilitas yang tersedia pun begitu lengkap, seperti wahana air, perahu ayunan, kantin, perahu, dan masih banyak lagi. Sejak ada pandemi corona ini semuanya rusak dan hancur, perlahan berangsur kemudian tidak terawat. Kemudian, kami perlahan membenahi segala fasilitas dan mulai aktif kembali pada Desember 2021,” kata Marza.
Lanjutnya, saat ini pengunjung yang datang sudah kembali normal. Fasilitas yang tersedia antara lain mushola, kantin, parkir, spot foto, area pemancingan, dan masih banyak lagi.
“Ikan yang ada di sini seperti nila, mas, koi, gabus, lele. Dan jika pengunjung mendapat ikan, berapa kilogram pun dapat ditimbang di tempat dan bisa langsung diolah,” jelasnya.
Menjelang HUT Pringsewu ke-13, setiap wisata ikut berpartisipasi dengan memasang baner ucapan selamat serta membuat peraturan- peraturan bagi pengunjung. Begitu juga dengan Telaga Gupit.
“Saat ini sedang merintis bagaimana menciptakan SAPTA PESONA, aman, tertib, bersih, sejuk, indah, rapih, dan kenangan, agar pengujung bisa nyaman,” ujar Marza lagi.
Ia berharap Telaga Gupid menjadi lebih baik lagi dan lebih maju. Pengunjung menjadi lebih ramai. Tidak hanya dari daerah sekitar tapi juga dari kabupaten bahkan provinsi lain.(Cho/Ded)
