Komunitas Pencinta Bonsai Jati Agung (Pentaboja) mengadakan acara halal bihalal dan jemur bonsai bersama yang diadakan di Pasar Margodadi, Kecamatan Jati Agung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, 22-23 Mei 2021. Acara tersebut dibuka dengan pemotongan pita oleh Kepala Desa Margodadi, Sutrimo dan Anggota DPRD Lampung Selatan, Maria Agatha W. Setelah itu, keduanya berserta Ketua Pentaboja, Sefri Alam bergantian memberikan sambutan dihadapan para peserta dan pengunjung.
“Pelaksanaan acara Halal Bihalal dan Jemur Bonsai bersama Pentaboja merupakan kebanggaan kami, khususnya bagi Desa Margodadi. Karena, kegiatan ini sulit dilakukan. Tapi, dengan adanya semangat para anggota dan pihak lain, maka terciptalah acara Pentaboja ini,” ungkap Sutrimo dalam sambutannya
Seperti halnya Sutrimo, Maria Agatha juga sangat mendukung para pemuda yang tergabung dalam Komunitas Pentaboja. Menurutnya, mereka sangat luar biasa. Dan, acara ini merupakan awal bagi masyarakat untuk lebih mengenal tanaman bonsai.
Dalam kesempatannya Sefri mengatakan, “Pentaboja yang dibuka pada hari Minggu telah diikuti kurang lebih 200 peserta dari Lampung Selatan, Bandar Lampung, Natar, Pringsewu dan masih banyak lagi. Tanaman bonsai yang dihadirkan pada kegiatan ini kurang lebih 20-30 anekaragam dan dimulai pukul 09.00 sampai 17.00 sore. Acara ini telah dibuka dengan pemotongan pita oleh Bapak Kepala Desa, Desa Margodadi, yaitu Bapak Sutrimo dan ditemani oleh anggota dewan, DPRD Lampung Selatan, yaitu Ibu Maria Agatha Wartinem serta ketua dan anggota Pentaboja.“
Sefri beserta anggota lainnya sangat apreseasi terhadap dukungan Kepala Desa, Anggota Dewan, para anggota komunitas pecinta bonsai dan berbagi pihak dalam acara tersebut. Anggota Pentaboja sendiri tidak hanya berasal dari Desa Margodadi, tapi ada juga yang dari luar desa ini.
Bonsai yang dipajang di acara tersebut harganya juga beragam, tergantung dengan ukurannya. Yang kecil, sekitar Rp200 ribu-Rp500 ribu, sedangkan yang besar bisa mencapai jutaan rupiah. Untuk membentuk bonsai tersebut butuh sekitar 2-3 tahun, bahkan sampai 5 tahun.(Cho/E1)
